As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group. Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
At Lake Washington Post 2995, YOU decided on the level of your involvement. Whether you wish to support from afar and never attend a meeting or a Post function…that is okay; or if it is to fully immerse yourself into the programs and be active within the VFW…that is your choice. Meeting agendas and minutes will always be emailed to you regardless if you attend or not, so you’ll always know of the Post activities. A monthly calendar and newsletter is also sent out. If this sounds agreeable to you, why not come down and let us show you around the Post.
Our Post meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month and we begin at 1830 (6:30p). Meetings last about 45 minutes and you have the option to teleconference if you cannot physically make the meeting. Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 15th.
